Week 6
Each week a member of the Pony Express staff will create a playlist for our readers to enjoy. They will cover a variety of genres and decades allowing readers to explore and discover new types of music and artists. This playlist is brought to you by Stephanie Metzger, Co-Editor-in-Chief.
This is a playlist you do not even need to listen to, to know it will be great. With all of the Disney classics (I use classics lightly) from Star Struck to Lemonade Mouth, it reminds you of the days where you were unaware of your complete inability to sing. This playlist includes fun bops and nostalgic beats, proving you really can not go wrong with early 2000s Disney music.

![“Tanning exposes your skin to [ultraviolet (UV)] light, and UV light is a known carcinogen, which means it can alter your DNA,” Biotechnology and biology teacher Gillian Boyd said. “It can change the sequences of DNA bases. The more exposure you have, the more risk you have to develop [skin] cancer.”](https://smhsponyexpress.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/IMG_0071-1200x798.jpeg)
