What is it?

A task force to bring awareness to youth exploitation and victimization in Marin County through educational services, training, and events. Teenagers are able to use their voice to normalize the conversation so young people will get the help they deserve and know how to protect themselves.

Why SpeakSafe?

“Our organization gives everyone the opportunity to stand up for others who may not be able to be their own advocate.”

– Marlene Capra, Executive Director

What is it?

A program to provide a welcoming community for the children of single mothers who live at the Gilead House. There is an emphasis on individual self-esteem and growth for the younger generation as well as leadership development for the volunteers.

Why The Crew at Gilead House?

“It’s like looking up to an older sibling in that fact, there to be a positive role model… That’s what they (the kids at Gilead) are going to remember when they get older.”
– Ellis Stahley, junior
