Mr. Mustang Pageant taking place December 14th

Mr. Mustang is taking place on December 14 in the Emily Gates Student Center. Participants will compete in categories including formal wear, swimwear and talents. Speech and Debate Team

On November 4, the San Marin Speech and Debate team attended the second GGSA parliamentary debate tournament of the 2017-2018 school year at Monte Vista High School in Danville. Of the 18 students who participated, eight finished the day with winning records.          Juniors Carina Masters and Aditya Katewa were undefeated in the varsity division, winning all three of their rounds.

Rally time extended to 45 minutes

San Marin’s rally schedule was changed to accommodate for an 8:00 a.m. start time and a 2:45 p.m. seventh-period dismissal this year. The new schedule includes 40-minute classes and a 45-minute rally slot, which is an extension from the previous schedule’s 30-minute rallies and 47-minute classes. The change accompanies NUSD’s decision to modify all high school schedules for 8:00 a.m.
