The mustangs varsity football team was defeated by the St. Bernard’s Crusaders in the second round of the North Coast Section Division division four playoffs in Eureka on Saturday. The team left early from school on Friday for their long bus ride and stayed overnight. They played at 1 pm the following day. The 64-21 loss marks the end of the 2017 football season. The team finished with an overall record of 7-4 a final MCAL league record of 4-1.
